Mentors in Action!

Our highly motivated mentor,  Ya Alimamy Kanu, visited her mentees at The Word of Life Ministries Primary School as part of the ATASL mentoring program. Ya’s responsibilities include monitoring the attendance and performance of the ATASL beneficiaries. Mentors play a key role in accountability, which ultimately helps break the cycle of poverty through education, empowering our girls with the skills to enhance their standing in the community and their future.

Ya Alimamy encouraged the girls to make use of this golden opportunity to pursue their studies. She emphasized how education is the key to success and advised the girls to take their studies seriously, adding that with education they will achieve their dreams and become greater people in society.

Further, she concluded her visit by encouraging the school’s administrators to embrace the development of the girls.
