International Day of the Girl 10/11/19: Mentor Article

To reflect on the United Nations’ #InternationalDayoftheGirl, a local reporter, Foday Moriba Conteh, reported on the celebration our founder, Fatu, had with our current A2A mentors. Fatu elaborated on the impact Angels to Angels has had, the important role of mentors in empowering our girls, and work that still needs to be done for girls’ education. Foday further depicted the daily struggles a typical girl in Sierra Leone faces, and other societal factors that contribute to the inequality injustices. We applaud Foday’s informative essay and truthful perspective.
